Fire Protection

Fire protection is no longer only characterized by fire extinguishment alone.  Fire protection activities have evolved into a specialized category called Fire Prevention. Fires still occur and remain our primary task, however, our fire prevention efforts have helped us decrease the frequency and deadly effects of fires. Emergency Medical Services 

Our members provide Emergency Medical Services with the most advanced paramedic protocol available.  Paramedics from the around the state, around the country and even around the world visit our website and download our protocol.  The protocol alone is of little value without the experience, the education and the commitment our members provide to our EMS program. Learn details HERE.

Professional Education

Miami Township Fire & EMS operates our own State of Ohio recognized Continuing Educational Program.  The Training Division is lead by a Union Brother and consists primarily of Brother/Sister Fire and EMS Instructors.  Our education program for Professional Firefighters and EMS providers is the key to our success. Learn details HERE.

Public Education

Our Public Education program consists of Fire Prevention, CPR, Car Seat Safety and specialized Fire/Smoke Awareness classes utilizing the Miami Township mobile Life Safety Education Center.  Learn details HERE.

Special Events

Miami Township Fire & EMS provides fire and paramedic services to special events utilizing bicycles, a specially equipped "Gator" Special Incident Response Unit and our Medical Response/Mass Casualty Unit.  We specifically target functions inside Miami Township; such as the annual Midsummer at the Meadows Festival.  We have assisted in American Heart Association events and other functions in the Greater Cincinnati area. We also house an American Red Cross Medical Unit at one of our stations.  Learn details HERE.
